Chicago Conjure is an immersive class exploring how conjure and folk-magic practices can be adapted to Chicago’s unique spiritual landscape. From the energy of the city’s crossroads and waterways to its neighborhoods, cultural history, and ancestral roots, you’ll discover how your surroundings can become a meaningful part of your spiritual practice.

This class moves beyond generic rituals to offer a grounded understanding of practicing conjure in an urban environment. We’ll discuss intention-setting, protection work, spiritual tools, local resources, and respectful ways to connect with the land and energy around you.

In this class, you’ll explore:

• The foundations and cultural context of conjure

• How Chicago’s environment can influence spiritual work

• Working respectfully with crossroads, waterways, and urban spaces

• Selecting herbs, candles, oils, and other ritual tools

• Creating protection, cleansing, and intention-based workings

This class is offered for spiritual, cultural, and educational purposes. Conjure and Hoodoo are distinct from initiated religious traditions such as Haitian Vodou.
